Baseball

The Pima Community College baseball program plays in one of the top junior college conferences in America, the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference, (ACCAC). Each year Pima, and the other ACCAC programs, compete for Top 25 rankings and the opportunity to compete in the NJCAA College World Series.

Pima baseball has made four trips to the World Series, the most recent in 1992. Over the last ten years the Aztecs have amassed an overall record of 306-230; 210-174 in the ACCAC.

The baseball program at PCC has a better than 95 percent success rate of players moving on to four-year schools or professional baseball; including seven players who have appeared in the major leagues.

OPEN TRYOUTS FOR 2009-2010 SEASON:

Student-athletes will have an opportunity to tryout for 2009-2010 Aztec baseball team on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 2:00 pm.  The "Open Tryout" session will be held at the Pima Community College West Campus Baseball Field, 2202 W. Anklam Rd.  Please complete both the Consent Form and Player Information Form and bring them to the tryout session. If you are under the age of 18, at the time of the tryout, a parent or guardian must also sign the consent form.
