Intercollegiate Sports
Athletically talented students come to Pima College to become Aztecs, competing and excelling in regional and national competitions.
Pima College's intercollegiate sports teams participate in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) under the banner of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
While recruitment takes place at many venues, current students also can try out for spots on teams. To participate, athletes must:
- be enrolled full-time at Pima.
- make satisfactory academic progress.
- receive a medical clearance.
Prospective athletes are encouraged to complete the recruiting questionnaire.
Pima College encourages all of its student-athletes to strive to succeed in their educational pursuits. Pima provides special programs to help them in their studies. It recognizes high academic achievement with the Athletic Director Honor Roll named every semester.
