Pima part of Tribal & College Leaders Summit on Oct. 19
The Tohono O’odham Nation and Pascua Yaqui Tribe, as well as Pima Community College, The University of Arizona and Tohono O'odham Community College, are among the sponsors of the Tribal & College Leaders Summit on Oct. 19.
The summit's purpose is to promote tribal and college partnerships on the theme, "Partnering to assist Native American students to Access, Persist and Succeed in Higher Education." The summit will include a panel of tribal and college leaders, video of student interviews on their college experiences, a review of college enrollment data, break-out sessions on numerous topics and sharing of best practices.
