Pima softball has 2 All-Americans

Two Pima softball players were named NJCAA All-Americans.

Logan Hall (Tucson, Sahuaro HS) earned Louisville Slugger/ National Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association’s NJCAA Division I All-America first team honors.

The freshman second baseman led the Aztecs in most offensive categories. She hit .458  in 61 games. Hall also scored 74 runs, hit 25 doubles, four triples and 13 homeruns and had 78 RBIs.

Pima’s Elisa Stensby (Sierra Vista, Buena HS) was named to the All-America second team.

The sophomore, who played shortstop and designated player, hit .400, scored 76 runs, hit 18 doubles and six home runs and had 64 RBIs.

The team was 52-17 overall and Region I runner-up.

The NFSCA announced the honorees on June 1.
