Special Direct Caregiver Program Tuition Offer

Do you provide in-home care to a friend or loved? Interested in starting a career in the caregiving profession? The Basic Direct Care Professional certificate can train you to provide the best possible care to someone who is aging, homebound, physically or mentally disabled.

Special Tuition Offer for Direct Caregiver Program
For a limited time, students can take the entire eight-week training program for only $50. This special funding for students is being provided by the Pima Council on Aging.

Program Highlights:

  • Develop practical caregiving skills
  • Learn to care for people with mobility problems or disabilities
  • Learn ways to handle stress and reduce risks of in-home caregiving
  • Gain skills that can help you advance in caregiving professions

Classes will meet on Saturdays 8:30 am – 4:15 pm at Northwest Campus, 7600 N. Shannon Road. 

   Spring Session II: March 22 - May 10
DCP 101: Principles of Caregiving (CRN 24796)

Summer Session I: May 27 - July 19
