PCC presents the musical 'Wonderful Town'
Pima Community College will present Leonard Bernstein’s musical “Wonderful Town” Feb. 20 through March 2. The production features the talents of more than 60 PCC student actors, dancers, singers, musicians and technical crew, under a collaborative team of directors. A preview performance of “Wonderful Town” on Wed., February 20 at 7:30 p.m. will begin the show’s two-week run. Performances will be Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m, with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Sign language interpreters will be available for the Wednesday, Feb. 27 performance. [ View event calendar ] Special Performance: The PCC Foundation invites you to the 3rd Annual Molly Starr Endowment Benefit for PCC Theatre Arts students on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The Benefit includes a pre-performance reception, the performance of "Wonderful Town", and coffee with the cast immediately following the performance. Tickets for the benefit are $25.00. Ten dollars of each ticket purchase is considered a tax-deductible contribution. Inspired by Bernstein’s score, set designer Hogue Day captures the energy of 1930s New York City.
