Statement of Purpose

The purpose of this SPG is to define and authorize the process of creating and enforcing minimum hardware and software specifications.

Process and Enforcement

A.      The District Office of Information Technology is responsible for establishing specifications for computer hardware, peripherals and software.  Specifications will be based on current industry benchmarks.

B.      Hardware and software specifications shall be reviewed and updated every year or more frequently as needed.

C.      Hardware and software which deviate from the specifications are reviewed by the District Office of Information Technology and could result in removal from the College.
